What is StunningCroatia.com?

We are a destination management company and we specialise in showcasing Croatia as never before. We also combine Croatian experiences with Montenegro, Slovenia, Italy and Greece.

On Visa Process, Do I need to go for an interview when called by the Embassy?

If a consular officer from the Croatian Embassy requires you to appear for an interview, you should go; otherwise your visa might be refused. The Embassy also has the right to require additional documents. 

Do I need to apply for Croatian visa if I have a valid Schengen visa? 

If you hold a valid Schengen uniform visa (C) for two or multiple entries, valid for all Schengen Area member states, whose period of validity covers your stay in Croatia, and if you have not used all of the days in the Schengen Area (i.e. you need to have at least one day left of the approved number of days; and at least one entry in case of a double-entry visa), you do not require an (additional) Croatian visa for transit through or intended stays in the territory of the Republic of Croatia not exceeding 90 days in any 180-day period.   

If I have a valid multiple entry Schengen visa and I am planning to go to Croatia, but my child who is included in my passport does not have any visa, do I have to apply for a visa for my child?

Yes, in case your child is included in your passport but does not have a visa, you, as a parent or legal guardian will have to apply and prepare a complete set of documents according to the purpose of visit. 

I have a valid Schengen visa with one entry. Can I enter Croatia if I haven’t used my Schengen visa prior to coming to Croatia?

No, only two or multiple entry Schengen visa is valid for entering the Republic of Croatia.

What is "JAMSTVENO PISMO"? In which cases should I submit this document? 

JAMSTVENO PISMO (Letter of Guarantee) are actually two forms: Jamstveno pismo fizičke osobe (Letter of Guarantee by natural person) and Jamstveno pismo pravne osobe (Letter of Guarantee by legal person)  - both filled out and signed by a guarantor from Croatia. The former is used for private visits (visiting relatives and friends) and the latter for business purposes. Both Letters have to be submitted in original with the visa application form, or can be deposited by a guarantor in Croatia at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.  

If I'm going to visit my wife/husband who is a citizen of Croatia, what document for the purpose of stay do I need to provide? 

If you are married to a Croatian citizen, you need to provide proof of marriage along with the proof of Croatian citizenship of your spouse (for example, copy of a passport). ​

What is the earliest I can apply for a visa?

You can apply for a visa earliest three (3) months before planned arrival to Croatia

​How much luggage can I take?

It depends on the carrier/airline but it is usually 30kg per person.Check with your airline prior to departure.

Do I need any vaccinations?

In general no, but you may want to consult with your doctor and travel agent to find out which vaccinations are required. If you suffer from any form of illness, be sure to have an adequate supply of medicines before departing on your trip. You must advise us directly or through your travel agent of any important medical condition you may have, before departure. That way we can ensure that we look after you and plan for any possible contingencies.

How much money should I bring?

This depends on the individual, but Stunning Croatia is a  luxury inclusive tour company: accommodation, meals, restaurants, entry fees are all included in our tours. Bring enough to cover entertainment, shopping, and souvenirs.

How will the documentation regarding my booking (receipt and voucher) be delivered to me?

Documents will be sent to you by e-mail, upon receipt of the full amount of the booking costs

Will my mobile work overseas?

Please get all the necessary information from your mobile service provider before departure. Several providers offer roaming services where you can keep your ordinary phone number, Be careful however of roaming charges which may be quite expensive. You can buy a local sim card at the airport too with free data, and keep your mobile phone active on whats app and free WI FI

Who should we contact if any problems occur?

In the first instance, your tour guide is available 24 hours 7 days for every and any need you may have. You will also be provided with a contact reference list upon arrival which has all contact and emergency numbers listed. 

What time are the meals timings?

Meal time differs from hotel to hotel but are usually between :
Breakfast 6 am – 10 am
Dinner 7 pm – 9 pm

What does half board service include?

Breakfast and dinner.

Can a 4-person family stay in a hotel room with a double and one extra bed?

This is possible, although it is different from one hotel to the next. We will do everything in our power to accommodate your request.

 Can we have interconnected rooms or rooms next door to each other?

Most hotels we work with do not have interconnected rooms. We cannot guarantee for the rooms to be next door to each other, but we will gladly notify the hotel of your request and try to accommodate your wishes.

Is there a commission to be added to the price quoted on your web site?

No, the price quoted already includes all commissions. There are no hidden extras.

Why can’t I book a room on the floor of my choice?

Stunning Croatia will do our best to accommodate your request, however the hotel management reserves the right to allocate the rooms to guests on the day of arrival. 

Do i need to tip the local guide.

All tips are included in our tour price.

Must I know the native languages of the countries I’m visiting?

No worries. That is one of the benefits of travelling with  Stunning Croatia. You’ll be travelling with a tour manager who knows how to get around the country you will be visiting. However, if you have some time, it never hurts to know a few courteous, friendly words (e.g., hello, please, thank you, etc.) of the native language of the country you will be visiting. It does make travelling more fun and you will find that most people from these countries will appreciate the effort and will be more receptive to your visit. Please note, all tour managers and tour drivers speak English. Some great key words and phrases in Croatian are:

What happens if I’m travelling alone? Is there an extra charge?

If you’re planning on travelling alone, and don’t want to pay for a single room, we’ll set you up with a roommate—same sex, of course! However, if you really want your very own room, and one is available, it will be offered for an additional sur charge, depending on which tour you are booking.

How many people will be on the trip with me?

It depends which tour you’re taking. For most of the trips between 20–40 people, however we also provide private and customised tours. Please contact us directly to discuss. 

How can my family contact me while I am travelling?

You will receive all contact details with your travel documentation sent three weeks prior to departure.

How much free time will I have?

It depends on tour as most have packed schedules, but during the day and evenings you will have plenty of time to explore for yourself.
